TriCounty Vegetarian Meetup -@- Tom Yum Goong in Princeton, NJ  I joined this meetup group and have gone to 3 events so far. It's a great bunch of people and always great food. I've learned alot from my fellow vegetarians these past few months. If you haven't joined yet, what are you waiting for?! Meetup.com is the place to be!! I host a meetup group for New Jersey Inline Skaters -- fun times. It's still new but it's getting there, slowly but surely -- I think maybe I should've focused on a specific region of NJ rather than the whole state. Even though there are over 40 members, our meetups are small due to the location of the events. Oh well. I have looked at some other meetup group events and liked some of the ideas for events. Unfortunately, the events were either totally booked or had already passed...so I have been starting up a 'semi' meetup group on the side. We are going Whitewater Rafting on the 21st, with a group of about 14 people and the following Saturday we plan on doing a Night Excursion on horseback which will end with an all you can eat western style BBQ, live music and bonfire and hayride. Oh the simple things --- things I've always wanted to do but never had the initiative to follow-up on them. Anyway -- more photos to come. |
