Sponsor a Child, TODAY.
Today I signed up to sponsor a child. I am sponsoring a little girl named Camila from Chile. She's 3 years old and so adorable.

I've been wanting to do this for some time now. I've watched so many 'save the children' commercials and I felt that if I sent money in, I couldn't trust that it would all really go to the children.

What I learned through Children International is that my monthly donation (no obligation) goes towards all the sponsored children (dire poor) and helps out with education, medical, housing, etc... Each child gets 1 sponsor. That sponsor is with that child as long as they are making contributions. ($22/month or 71cents per day). You are able to select the region, sex, age range of the child you'd like to sponsor.

Once you sign up and make your first contribution, you can log into their website and view more information about the child. What they like to do, what their talents are, what their full name is, what their parents names are, their age and what they do. How much the family makes per month and information about their housing conditions and the area/region they live in.

I think this contribution is definitely worth it. There are so many helpless children suffering for no reason, and they have no control over it.

My next post will show info on the girl I am sponsoring.
